We were looking for a doula, and our amazing midwife Esma from Geboorte in praktijk told us to get in touch with Denise.
We met in the park for an introduction meeting and felt straight away at ease and at trust. It was like talking about pregnancy and more with a friendly family member.
We chose the full package, and never regretted our choice: the fun and instructive birth class, the spinning baby exercises, the banana bread after birth…
But most of all, her wonderful support during birth. She came to us straight after our call, until a few hours after birth. It was so calming to have her by our side, looking after both the mum and the partner. You can feel she has a lot of knowledge, and made our complicated birth much easier than it could have been.
We highly recommend Denise as a doula. Makes a massive difference during the pregnancy and birth process. She was instrumental in avoiding a caesarean.
